MARKETING

Unsurprisingly, the creativity of companies in the fashion sector never reaches a plateau: fashion is an economy of creativity. While maintaining their economic objectives, companies must reinvent themselves to meet the current needs of their customers and diversify their offer. Participants will have to propose a feasible, realistic and above all creative marketing strategy to solve the mandate of our partner.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Considering the predominant place of digital in our era, companies must adjust accordingly. Data collection becomes inevitable and even crucial. The main issue that follows is undoubtedly the analysis and understanding of this data in order to detect trends in the object studied. Reliable business intelligence within a company is an asset for aligning its business plan with consumer needs. Fashion Spectrum 2022 participants can therefore expect to offer business solutions based on real data, while remaining faithful to our partners' strategy.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Sustainable development is a facet of development that takes a long-term view while integrating ecological and social constraints into the economy. (Bazin, 2006) Sustainable development allows an organization and all its components to evolve towards sustainability. For an organization to be sustainable, all its components must evolve in harmony. Historically, the Global Sustainable Development Goals are established by the United Nations. (Bihouix, 2014)

HUMAN RESOURCES

In Canada, half of the jobs in the fashion industry are in the province of Quebec. Thus, thanks to the innovative solutions of the participants of the 2022 edition of Fashion Spectrum, the mandate will focus on how the Quebec company could position itself on the market as an employer of choice in a context of labor shortage caused by the aging of the population, the decline in the labor force and changing labor trends. Participants can therefore expect to achieve a resolution of cases relating to the major themes of human resources: attraction, recruitment, retention.

OPERATIONS & LOGISTICS
MANAGEMENT

Thanks to consumers desire to buy local, it is important to promote small-medium businesses in Montreal. One of the big issues is competition with large, well-established companies. Indeed, unlike the latter, SMEs must optimize all the resources within their reach as a principle of efficiency. Since operations and logistics are at the heart of all businesses, participants will have to analyze the situation of the company, then propose a solution that will allow our partner to have a better idea of how to optimize the daily operations of the company.
